The Hunger games is a series about a dystopian American future where America is split into 13 districts with one overruling Capitol. The capitol is very oppressive, and the series is about the fight to change that. The series deals with several different themes such as mourning, rebellion and oppression, making it a very dramatic and well rounded experience while reading.
The Hunger Games has been a huge part of my life, and it’s a series that I care about deeply. I started reading it when I was around 10 years old, and even now I catch myself going back and rereading it or watching the movies. It’s top on my recommendation list, and I hope everybody who reads it gets as much enjoyment out of it as I do.
